Security Analyst, Adam Bona, has challenged the government to take steps to have embattled US Rapper, Meek Mill, arrested and repatriated to Ghana.
According to Mr. Bona, it should be in the interest of the state to know the amount of volume of images and videos that are in possession of the musician.
“Do we know how much images and videos he took away?” Mr Bona quizzed.
Speaking to the matter on Starr FM’s Morning Starr programme following Meek Mill’s comment that he shot the video in the Jubilee House with a kid and a small camera, Mr. Bona further directed government to “Get him [Meek Mill] to sign a bond that will prevent him from leaking these or similar images in the future.”
The Security Analyst who made reference to the current security issues in neighbouring Burkina Faso reminded government not to “Jeopardize our security in the name of tourism” adding “The images we have seen could be just one percent of what he took.”
Meek Mill’s apology has rather been described to have indicted government officials who gave him what has been described as unlimited access to the Jubilee House. He’s also been questioned about the use of drones during his stay in the country.
“My check indicates he did not register the drones he brought into the country” Mr. Bona reveals.
Though Meek Mill has come out to apologise to Ghanaians and the government for his actions, there have been massive calls from those in security to government to speak to the issue
