GES Cautions Parents Against Fake BECE Results on Social Media

2021 BECE Begins Today With Over 571,0000 Candidates In Ghana

Mr. Isaac McCarthy Mensah, Director of Education for Tema West, has urged parents and guardians to disregard information circulating on social media claiming that the 2025 BECE results and school placements are ready.

Speaking on Nkosuo Nsem, Mr. Mensah said the Ghana Education Service (GES) has not received any official confirmation from its headquarters that the results have been released.

“We have seen posts on social media suggesting the results and placements are out, but at GES, we do not work through social media. When the results are ready, they will be sent from the headquarters to the regional offices, then to the municipal offices, before an official announcement is made,” he explained.

He cautioned parents to be vigilant and avoid engaging with unverified sources, as such misinformation could lead to fraud or exploitation.

Mr. Mensah assured that GES is making all necessary arrangements to officially release the results and school placements soon, and the public will be informed through the proper channels.
