Galamsey has destroyed our roads- residents of Aboi Nkwanta cry out
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Residents of Aboi Nkwanta in the Western Region have applead to government to urgently work on the road leading to neighboring communities like samreboi.

According to them, the activities of the illegal miners have destroyed their road which has become a death trap to road users.

They lament that, drivers from Asankrangwa now have to use either the Sureso or Wassa Dunkwa routes to get to samreboi, which makes it difficult for them to connect to other communities to do business. The deplorable state of the road has forced drivers to increase the cost of transportation.

“ the road has further deteriorated for the past three (3) weeks and no driver wants to ply it’’.
