The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has announced that the 2025 enlistment and recruitment exercise will be conducted in all 16 regional capitals, providing qualified applicants across the country with an equal opportunity to apply.

In a statement dated Monday, September 29, 2025, and signed by Captain Veronica Adzo Arhin, Acting Director General of Public Relations, the Armed Forces said the decision was aimed at ensuring fairness and accessibility in the recruitment process.

The statement cautioned the public against fraudulent recruitment links being circulated on WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms. It warned that such messages were fake and should be ignored. According to GAF, no invitations are issued directly by officers of the Armed Forces or the High Command.

The Armed Forces explained that official information on the exercise will be published only on its websites, gafonline.mil.gh and gafrecruitment.mil.gh, and in state-owned newspapers, including the Daily Graphic and Ghanaian Times.

GAF also appealed to the public to support efforts to protect the integrity of the recruitment exercise. It added that transparency remains central to the process.

The annual exercise is regarded as one of the most competitive entry points for young Ghanaians interested in a career in the military. Officials have urged prospective applicants to rely only on verified channels to avoid being defrauded.
