Comedian Funny Face has been dragged to court by the Ghana Police Service. This comes after his release on a recent arrest for discharging a firearm at a pub in Kasoa.
Known in real life as Benson Nana Oduro Boateng, the reason behind the comedian’s arraignment before the court is not yet known.
In a video captioned “GYE NYAME” Jailed again yesterday afternoon .. till dis morning .. being taking to Ofankor circuit court .. GOD is in control ….@funnyfansspread dis video .. justice for funny face” the comedian is seen being transported in a police vehicle to court.
Having being released on bail after his previous arrest, Funny Face took to social media to rain insults on the Ghana Police Service for what he termed unprofessional conduct regarding the way he was treated when he was arrested. He further threatened to sue the Ghana Police Service for Five million US dollars ($5million).
The Ofankor Circuit Court presided over by his honor Ebenezer Osei Darko has ordered the Ghana Police Service to send Funny Face to the Accra Psychiatric Hospital for two weeks.
