Former Chief Justice Anin-Yeboah Lands Top Role in FIFA Governance

Justice Kwasi Anin-Yeboah, former Chief Justice of Ghana, has been appointed Deputy Chairperson of the FIFA Adjudicatory Chamber for a four-year term.

The appointment was officially announced during the 75th FIFA Congress held in Asunción, Paraguay.

In his role, Justice Anin-Yeboah will play a pivotal part in upholding ethical standards within global football.

The Adjudicatory Chamber is a key component of FIFA’s Ethics Committee, responsible for reviewing cases brought forward by the Investigatory Chamber, determining whether proceedings should continue or be closed, and imposing sanctions in accordance with FIFA’s codes and statutes.

Justice Anin-Yeboah brings a wealth of legal and administrative experience to the position. He served as the 14th Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana, and his distinguished judicial career is complemented by extensive involvement in football governance, both locally and internationally. He previously held positions within the Ghana Football Association and has served on FIFA’s judicial bodies, earning respect for his integrity and commitment to justice.

With his proven track record in both legal and sporting institutions, Justice Anin-Yeboah is well positioned to strengthen the work of the Adjudicatory Chamber and support FIFA’s mission to safeguard the integrity of the game.

The FIFA Adjudicatory Chamber consists of the following members:

Anin Yeboah -Ghana – Deputy Chairperson

Pamela Camus – Chile – Member

Michael Goodwin – Papua New Guinea – Member

Guillermo B. Iroy Jr. – Philippines – Member

Ayotunde Phillips – Nigeria – Member

Ian Godfrey Wilkinson – Jamaica- Member

Duygu YaÅŸar – Turkey – Member
