Fire Razes Four-Bedroom House at Asamankese

Stop attacking fire fighters – GNFS urges Ghanaians
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) have successfully salvaged a 4-bedroom property from a fire outbreak in Asamankese.

The emergency response team acted swiftly to bring the blaze under control after the house was found completely engulfed in flames, posing a significant threat to three nearby units.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the fire was caused by an electrical fault. The fire crew immediately cut off the power supply to prevent further escalation and then deployed fire hoses to contain the flames.

It took the team two hours to fully extinguish the fire. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported.

The GNFS has urged residents to be cautious with electrical connections and report fire outbreaks promptly to ensure a quick emergency response.

They also advised the public to regularly inspect their electrical systems and follow fire safety measures to avoid such incidents in the future.
