Fire Outbreak In Dunkwa Market: Dozens Of Shops Destroyed

Nana Oboubi hosted the Weekend News on Angel TV this afternoon 13th February 2022. Nana Oboubi speaks about the terrible fire outbreak which occured in Dunkwah Market located at Upper Dankyira East in the Central Region of Ghana. According to the report, dozens of shops were destroyed by the fire before the National Fire Service personnels arrived to the scene.

One of the persons who was at the scene stated that, about 7 shops were burnt into ashes completely before the fire service officers were able to quench the fire.

It was stated again that, the owners of the affected shops had a court issues with some group of people. It is suspected that, those group of people are behind the fire out break which occur in Dunkwah Market. After the fire was quenched, the fire service officers found a gun of petrol lying in front of one of the affected shops. The Police are going to carry out investigations so as to identify the culprits.
