[VIDEO]: Fire guts Kejetia market

35 Wooden Structures Razed To The Ground At Darkuman

Fire has gutted parts of the new Kejetia Market in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.

The fire started around 4:30 pm on Wednesday, March 15.

The cause of the fire is not yet known but according to Plan B FM’s Issac Nana Appiah the fire is spreading to parts of the market.

Personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service are currently batting to put out the raging fire.

Several fire tenders are at the scene in a bid to quench the fire.
