The Chairman of Tema West constituency of the New Patriotic Party NPP Mr. Kwasi Opoku Bosompem has stated that, in any contest, every candidate would like the election to be rigged in their favor whenever the need arises.
Speaking on Plan B FM’s morning show NKOSUONSEM hosted by Nana Yaw Abrompah, Chairman Bosompem was reacting to some allegations made by NPP communication team member Kwabena Agyei that, some people in the Tema West constituency who support Dr. Bawumia are threatening those supporting other candidates and argued that everybody in the party has their favorite, and one particular candidate can’t be imposed on them to be voted for.
“No one is more human than anybody in the party and everyone has their favorite, if the executives are for Bowumia, we the grassroots are for Kennedy and he is the hope for the party and youth in the country,”
Mr. Bosompem called on the party members in the constituency to calm tempers and desist from actions that will tolerate the peace of the party that will hurt the party because after 4th November they will be campaigning for one particular candidate to face the general election he added.
“I will beg every party member in the Tema West constituency to calm down and know that the party has its structures in handling issues, but I promise that there will be fair playing grounds for every candidate in the constituency.”
