An Evangelist name withheld by Sunyani District police aged 35, has been arrested for allegedly butchering a man to death in Kotokrom in the Sunyani east municipality of the Bono region on Thursday morning ,July 8.
Security sources tell that the victim is one Kofi Bah popularly known in the town as ‘Me Bro’ aged 36 and a mason as well.
According to information available to Plan B 104.5 that, the suspect was armed with a long saw with blood stains on it inside the victim’s room.
The deceased body were said to be found lying in a gutter position in a pool of blood dead.
Inspection conducted on the body revealed multiple saw wounds on the neck, the chest, head and the hands, according to police sources.
The deceased was removed from the gutter and deposited at Sunyani regional government hospital morgue pending autopsy, police say, adding that suspect has been detained to assist investigation.
