Eligible Voters In Buem To Participate Only In Presidential Elections – EC

Electorates in the Buem constituency, Oti Region will on Monday December 7, 2020, participate in the presidential and not parliamentary elections.

In a statement, the Electoral Commission on Sunday December 6, 2020 stated that, the new development is due to the creation of the Guan District Local Government (Guan District Assembly) (Establishment) Instrument, 2020 and pending the creation of the Guan constituency.

Concluding, the statement read, “Voters in the Guan District are to take note of this Directive front the Electoral Commission.”
