The Electoral Commission has summoned an emergency IPAC meeting to discuss preparations towards the 2024 general elections.

It comes after the EC started nationwide distribution of ballot papers amid concerns over the closure of some polling stations.

Major political parties and election stakeholders have shown up for the emergency meeting on November 14.

The exact agenda is not known, but 3news has gathered that the EC Chairperson earlier held a close-door meeting with some officials and is expected to soon address the parties.
