A National communication team member of Movement for Change, John Kofi Adusei-Poku is urging Ghanaians most especially the youth to take part in the voters exhibition exercise to check if their names and other details are accurate in the voters’ register.

In a panel discussion on Plan B FM’s ‘Nkosuonsem’ show hosted by Obidehyie Kofi Sekyi, Adusei-Poku appealed to the youth of Ghana and all Ghanaians to try as much as possible to go to their polling centers in their numbers to cross check their informations.

“Don’t fall for what the National Chairman of the NDC, Mr. Nketiah is saying. Ghana could have be like Kenya by now, but the youth are much patiently to do all things possible through democracy. Just go and check if all details on your Voter Identification Card is correct so that you can exercise your voting rights in the December 7th polls” he noted.

Adusei-Poku added that, should any chaos occur, Mr. Asiedu Nketiah will be the first person to go and hide.

This come after the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress NDC, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has called for the postponement of the 2024 voters exhibition exercise scheduled for August, 20th 2024 to August, 27th 2024.

Speaking in an interview with the Media on Monday, 19th, August 2024, he suggested that the electoral commission should provide the political parties with the voter’s register for security.

According to him, peaceful elections can only be assured if the Electoral Commission is transparent with both political parties and the public.
