The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ejisu in the Ashanti Region, Jerryne Asante, has reportedly been attacked in her office.

According to video footage shared by Akoma FM in Kumasi, the incident involved some persons believed to be executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The video shows police officers and men suspected to be “macho” men exchanging heated words inside the office.

The footage also captures a broken glass table, reportedly belonging to the MCE.

Voices could be heard in the background, with one saying, “We didn’t come here to joke, pack your things.”

A woman’s voice, believed to be that of the MCE, is also heard saying, “The NDC has become cheap… you will suffer for it. Today you have grown wings… you will suffer for it.”

Akoma FM shared the video on Facebook on April 28, 2026, with the caption, “Some NDC executives in the Ejisu Municipality attack the MCE, Jerryne Asante.”
