Education Minister, Deputy Communications Minister stable after road accident

The Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, and the Deputy Minister for Communications and Digital Technology, Mohammed Adams Sukparu, are in stable condition following a road traffic accident involving their convoy on the Bolgatanga–Tumu Road.

The incident occurred while the ministers and their teams were travelling to the Upper West Region for official engagements marking the 40th anniversary celebrations of the Tumu College of Education and the Jahan College of Education.

According to a statement from the Office of the Minister for Education, all members of the convoy are stable and currently receiving medical attention.

The Office also expressed gratitude to emergency responders, health professionals, and members of the public for their swift intervention, adding that further updates will be communicated when necessary.
