The Electoral Commission has disclosed that the attention of its office has been drawn to isolated incidents of ballot paper tampered with in 2 polling station.
In a statement issued by the Commission it stated that, the suspected officers have been identified and removed from post pending investigations.
“The General public is informed that the presidential ballot paper for the 2020 General elections has twelve candidates. For a correctly thumb printed ballot to be considered valid and counted, all Presidential candidates must be in the ballot paper”, the statement read.
Concluding the statement, the Commission urged all staff and field officials to let truth and integrity guide them as they continue with the voting exercise.
