The family of a final year Junior high school student of Akyem Tweapease Presbyterian JHS in the Kwaebibirim district in the Eastern region, Emmanuel Adu Asabire, are yet to come to terms with the circumstances that led to the death of their dear one.

The 17-year-old fell ill Sunday afternoon and was rushed to Asuom Health Center but pronounced dead on arrival.

According to the bereaved family, the cause of the sudden death of Adu Asabire is not yet known.

Master Emmanuel Adu Asabire was part of the school’s football team.

He was among the candidates preparing to write this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in October.
