E/R: 3 Dead, 3 Students Of Oda SHS Injured

Two Dead After Kete-Krachi Road Accident

Three passengers have reportedly died in a fatal accident on Akyem Abaam to Akyem Asuom road in the Eastern region.

Others who sustained injuries have been hospitalized.

The cause of the accident which occurred on Friday is yet to be known.

In a separate accident, three(3) students of Oda Senior High School (ODASCO) have sustained serious injuries after a vehicle they were aboard crashed.

The injured students are Lawrencia Edem, 16, Nyedua Prince Kwadwo, 20, and Henry Nunoo, 17.

The students were aboard Toyota Yaris Taxi Cab with registration number GR 6498-21 from Oda SHS to Akim lorry terminal after the semester break on Friday, January 28, 2022 at about 10:00am.

But on reaching a section of the road near Asomdwoe junction, the driver drove carelessly and as a result lost control of the steering wheel which the Vehicle somersaulted.

The occupants including the driver Samuel Aboagye, 21, sustained injuries and including the driver Samuel Aboagye, 21, sustained injuries and were rushed to Oda government Hospital where he at receiving treatment.
