The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has announced the temporary closure of its Abuakwa Ultra Centre until further notice.

In a public notice issued on Thursday, August 20, 2026, the Authority said the closure is temporary but did not state the reason for the decision.

The DVLA has apologised to customers for any inconvenience the closure may cause and urged them to access its services at the nearest available DVLA office.

The Authority assured the public of its continued commitment to providing services while asking affected customers to make alternative arrangements until further notice.

The DVLA can be contacted on 0203 200 112 or via email at info@dvla.gov.gh.

The notice was signed off with the Authority’s tagline: “DVLA: Your Safety, Our Concern.”
