Domeabra: Man, 40, Stabs Pastor Over Loud Preachings

Domeabra: Man, 40, Stabs Pastor Over Loud Preachings

He was found at the crime scene

Charles Ben-Anim, a one-man pastor with no pastoral church allegiance has been stabbed after he failed to minimize the sound of his outdoor stereos during dawn preaching this morning. The stereos with its loud capacities were heard throughout the Naak residential community when Charles opened it up, around four for his preachings.

With only one song, Charles danced and entertained himself as he played over and over, the ‘Gye Me’ gospel album of Esther Smith, before Matthew Armata, 40, came out of his house and warned the preacher to minimize his stereos. This is a community of workers that needs sleep so they can attend to their needs in the morning, we are not jobless people who roam about all day, so please lower that thing so we can have enough rest and do our jobs in the morning, Matthew shouted before walking back to his house.

The children of God will always be able to stand the devil’s advocate, we are here to heal you and that is what we will keep doing, the preacher, Charles Ben-Anim said in response to Mathew’s pleas of him lowering his stereos. Comfort Anane, the woman whose window faced directly to the preacher, was annoyed by the counter-response of the preacher and even responded to him from his window.

Is that how a man of God talks, Comfort said to the chicky response of the preacher before he was stabbed from the side. Matthew with a dagger, placed his left hand at his back whiles he aimed towards the direction of the preacher with his right hand hanging freely. Charles, the preacher, received a tap on his shoulders and before he could turn to face the person, he was stabbed in the right ribs of his stomach.

Comfort in the surprise of what had happened raised alarm and community members were able to rescue Charles before Matthew could stab him again. When you come back again, you will know it is never good to disturb other people, Matthew said as he walked away. Charles was taken to the Domeabra chip compound before he was referred to the Agogo Hospital.

Charles has been relieved from death as he continues to receive medical attention from the injured ribs. Matthew Armata was arrested in the morning and is still at the Domeabra Police cells helping with investigations.
