Disregard nominee submission directive for national appointments – Ashie Moore

Disregard nominee submission directive for national appointments – Ashie Moore
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, has urged party members to disregard a circulating letter that calls for the submission of party nominees from constituencies for appointments.

In the statement dated December 25, 2024, Ashie Moore clarified that he was not aware of any such notification from the apex level of the party.

He emphasised that neither the regional executive committee had been consulted nor had they approved such a directive.

“This is indeed a sole decision of the Regional Secretary without any recourse to laid down party structures. Kindly disregard the letter completely with much seriousness it deserves,” Moore stated.

He further assured party members that the transition team of the President-Elect is diligently working towards a successful handover and is focused on delivering the top 10 policies to be implemented within the first 120 days in office.
