Disregard News About Nana Konadu’s Withdrawal From 2020 Polls – NDP

The Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings has not withdrawn from the December 7 general elections.

Mr. Alhaji Mohammed Frimpong, the General Secretary of NDP made this known at a press conference this afternoon.

He pointed out that news circulating on all platforms about the resignation of Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings, the flagbearer for the party in this years general elections is fabricated and must be dismissed.

Mr. Frimpong said, “Politics is an active process so therefore the issue of her not contesting for the December polls as we speak has not even arrived.”

He then added that, it would be unacceptable to confront a widow to have a conversation about news circulating in the media, when the party has not been informed.

Assuring the press and citizenry that any developments shall be relayed accordingly he said, “we all live in Ghana, whatever the outcome will be, it will be known.”
