Corruption fight; President Akufo Addo is “a wolf in sheep’s clothing” – Movement for Change

Corruption fight; President Akufo Addo is “a wolf in sheep’s clothing” – Movement for Change

A member of the Movement for Change Kofi Adusei Poku has described President Nana Akuffo Addo and his New Patriotic Party NPP as”a wolf in sheep’s clothing” when it comes to the fight against corruption in the country.

Making his submission on Plan B FM’s morning show NKOSUONSEM hosted by Obidehye Kofi Sekyi, the communicator emphasized that, when President Akufo-Addo was seeking power in 2015, he made Ghanaians aware that he was incorruptible but after giving him the power a lot of corrupt cases has happened under his watch but nothing has been done.

He noted that with each passing day left in the life of the current government, “countless skeletons in their closet of corruption keep unfolding before our very eyes.”

He said the penchant for corrupt schemes under President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Bawumia is what has accounted for the unprecedented hardship and poverty in the country.

According to the Movement for Change communicator, “Ghanaians are suffering because the meagre resources of the country which are supposed to be put to judicious use for the benefit of all Ghanaians, have been hijacked by the greedy, selfish and corrupt Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government and their accomplices in the ruling New Patriotic Party. This is why today, students are suffering; teachers are suffering; nurses are suffering; doctors are suffering; and market women are suffering.

He said added “as we are prepare for the 2024 general elections NPP and NDC will come up with sugar-coated words to lure us their votes but they should always remember that both parties have failed Ghanaians and it is time to try Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen because he has Ghana at heart” he said
