The Club Licensing Department of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has begun the process of inspecting various facilities submitted by elite clubs for the licensing process ahead of the 2021/22 season.

As part of the new requirements of the Club Licensing Regulations, all elite clubs were to provide a main stadium, alternative stadium, and a separate facility for training purposes.
The inspection which would conclude on Sunday, September 26, 2021, began with the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium selected by Premier League new entrants Real Tamale United (RTU) and Division One League campaigners Steadfast FC and Tamale City FC as well as Northern Ladies FC.
The inspection exercise shall also include the Club Secretariat’s of the various elite clubs and an interaction section with the staff and position holders of all the clubs.

The Inspection Team led by the Licensing Manager Julius Ben Emunah would also take the opportunity to create an extra awareness and education through traditional media engagements on the new requirements and the importance of a club licensing regime in our football ecosystem.
The final report on the various facilities would be submitted to the Club Licensing Committee for approval before the final review meeting with the clubs leading to an Approved List for Stadiums/Park for matches.
Attached for the attention of all clubs and stakeholders is the detailed schedule of the inspection exercise.
