CLOGSAG Gives Akufo-Addo Ultimatum To sack Western North Minister

CLOGSAG Gives Akufo-Addo Ultimatum To sack Western North Minister
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The Civil and Local Government Staff Association (CLOGASAG) has called on president to immediately terminate the appointment of the Western North regional minister Richard Ebbah Obeng.

At a news conference in Accra on Tuesday November 23, Executive Secretary of CLOGSAG Isaac Bampoe Addo accused the minister for engaging in unlawful postings of local government staff..

Mr Addo said the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo should by November 26, Friday November 26 dismiss him.

“Significantly, some staff members of the Local Government Service have had their appointments terminated for contravening the Supreme Court Ruling on Neutrality on partisan activities,” he said.

He added “the Association would be compelled to convene an Emergency National Executive Council (NEC) meeting to pave the way for further action,” if the President does not sack him by Friday.
