A group calling itself citizens of the Tarkwa Banso has petitioned Wassa Fiase House of Chiefs under the distinguished Leadership of Tarkwa man Hene, to impanel the Wassa Fiase House of Chiefs Judicial Committee to make public their ruling on the protracted Tarkwa Banso chieftaincy dispute which everyone is waiting for in the area.
Speaking to the convenor of the group Leonard Oteng on Plan B FM’s late afternoon show EBAANISEN hosted by Ohene Kinnah, Mr. Otebg said, the 38-year chieftaincy dispute has brought the Tarkwa Banso area to its knees in the realization of the Banso of our dreams.
He stressed that Citizens of the Tarkwa Banso area, among the most illustrious sons and daughters of Ghana and
are flying high the flag of Ghana on all fronts.
The institution of chieftaincy cannot be ruled out in the quest for development in any local area
in Ghana and elsewhere, as the Chíefs and subjects rally the p people for developmental purposes and peaceful co-existence.
With all due respect, we the citizens of Tarkwa Banso don’t know the new queen mother of
Tarkwa Banso and also don’t know the Ankoma Brothers to be the ruler of our land.
We only Nana Kyekye as our queen mother and Ahene Kwaesi Kyem as our land owners as
tradition demands.
There is nowhere we install two queen mothers in the same town so we are pleading for an explanation on that matter.

to extend his wisdom in the peaceful settlement of protracted chieftaincy matters, notably the installation of the Nana Yaa Kyekye for all we know and Abusua Ahene Kwaesi Kyem, among others to help gift the good people of the Tarkwa Banso area An Omanhene, as Tarkwa Banso Cries for Social Economic Development.
