General Secretary of the National Democratic Party(NDP), Alhaji Mohammed Frimpong has underlined the steering factor in the party’s choice of Peter Tennyson Nana Kwame Asamoah to run with Presidential candidate, Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings on the ticket of the party ,ahead of the December polls.
Speaking at a conference, hosted on Saturday 26th September,2020, at the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) hall to outdoor the party’s choice of running mate, Alhaji Frimpong, stressed that a blend of craftsmanship and experience is crucial in accelerating Ghana’s economic growth process. Hence, the NDP’s choice of the 45-year old supply chain and warehouse expert, to partner Mrs Rawlings for victory during the December general elections.
“We as a party are enthused by the principles of solid apprenticeship and the ideological values of service. We hold on to the treasures of probity and service to the ordinary citizen. Our choice of running mate is therefore reflective of our core beliefs”

The NDP’s chosen running mate, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with Philosophy from the University of Ghana, Legon.
He is also an alumni of Pope John Seminary Secondary School where he had his Advanced Level education and St. Mary’s Seminary Secondary School where he had his Ordinary Level education.
Peter Tennyson Nana Kwame Asamoah is a Christian, married and also, a sports enthusiast.
