Two vehicles have burnt to Ashes in separate occurrences on the Kasoa-Winneba Highway on Thursday afternoon. Even though, no deaths occurred victims sustained some minor injuries.
The first incident involved a toyata V8 Land cruiser which caught fire after a head-on collision with a 4×4 Benz at Gomoa Dominase.
Driver of the V8 made a wrongful overtaking and in the process crashed with the benz.
According to owner of the second vehicle, his car caught flames in a sudden manner whilst approaching the Gomoa Dominase township.
According to Ato Yawson, he heard an unusual boom noise in his renault 25 vehicle registered GR 2090 H followed by the flames.
Even though he and other occupants managed to escape harm an amount GHC 4,000.00 and some imported wines were lost to the fire.
Even though the fire service team from Winneba arrived at the scene they could not salvage the vehicle. Station Officer Anthony Nyarko , admonishes drivers to take precaution as we head into the harmattan season.
