CCTV Camera Captures Thief Stealing A Monkey In Tema

No one knows what a young man would steal a monkey for. Hitherto, when you are addicted to stealing, you tend to steal than to be given a something for free.

Shop attendants of Peva mother care decided to set a secret camera on a notorious area thief in Tema Community 20 after suffering numerous robberies from the hands of the suspected thief.

In a video going viral on social media, the suspected thief estimated to be between the ages of 25 – 30 was captured live trying to steal a monkey at the upper staircase at the premises of the shop.

In the late hours of yesterday, the thief had climbed to that level with a net and some tools believed to be a pair of scissors, trying so hard to remove the monkey kept in a cage. However, after several attempts to remove the monkey, but he couldn’t.

But that was not all, the suspected young man proceeded to breaking into the shop and made away with some items like mobile phones and other shop items.

According to an unidentified voice in the video, a lady believed to be a worker at the mother care narrated how the same thief had been breaking into people’s shops in Community 20 to steal goods from them. According to the worker, the thief stole his boss’s mobile phone which had many documents and vital information on it few days ago only to come back again for another robbery.

The lady was praising the gentleman who mounted the secret camera at the backyard of the Peva mother care for exposing the gentleman.

Meanwhile, the shop attendants together with the police of the area are in search of the thief and have thus called on the good people of Ghana to assist in his arrest, although the camera did not show his face clearly.
