Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz says Ghana is looking forward to a competitive encounter against Côte d’Ivoire, insisting fans can expect an enjoyable game.
The Portuguese coach made the remarks ahead of Ghana’s crucial AFCON qualifier against the Elephants on Thursday.
“We came here to play a good game against a good team. The fans will enjoy the game tomorrow,” Queiroz said during his pre-match press conference.
The Black Stars have been preparing for the encounter as they seek a positive result against their West African rivals.
Queiroz has emphasised the importance of focusing on the game and ensuring his players execute their plans on the pitch.
Ghana will face Côte d’Ivoire in what is expected to be a closely contested encounter, with both sides looking to strengthen their position in the qualifying campaign.
