A 35-year-old Assistant Headmaster of Ekumfi Akra Methodist Basic School who doubles as the Ghana National Association of Teachers Local Secretary in the Ekumfi District of the Central region has been shot whiles easing himself in a bush near their Teachers’ bangalow.
Information gathered revealed the Teacher, Shadrack Frimpong, went to a nearby bush around their staff bangalow to ease himself and got shot.
It is reported the bullet hit a tree before splitting to his left eye and hand.
It is suspected the unknown gunmen tried killing the Assistant headmaster but was saved by the tree.
Mr. Frimpong, according to Plan B News sources, was heard screaming from the bush by his colleague teachers who rushed to the bush to find him in a pool of blood, indicating he had been shot.
He had allegedly canned a pupil before the incident happened, with many linking the two incidents.
He is currently receiving treatment at the Mankessim Roman Hospital.
