A Ghanaian businessman identified as Kofi Gyan and close relatives met their untimely death late Friday whilst travelling from Accra to Nkoranza in the Eastern Region.
According to reports, Gyan, founder of the NGO Initiators of Change Foundation, was on his way back home for his mother’s funeral slated for today, Saturday, May 20th 2023.
He was in the company of two close relatives.

Apparently, the three left Accra on Friday for today’s funeral but unfortunately never reached their destination.
Sources say their car was trying to avoid a head-on collision with a sprinter bus that made a wrongful overtaking but unfortunately ended up in a nearby river instead.
All three reportedly died!
A look at Kofi Gyan’s social media pages indicates he had been speaking a lot about his mom’s funeral and inviting all and sundry to join him for the ceremony.
Unfortunately, he now joins her in the land of the dead.
