Information reaching indicates that six (6) armed robbers attacked Upper Amenfi Rural Bank at Wassa Jukwa Mpatasi and injured the branch manager.
According to the reporter, six (6) armed robbers barged into the Upper Amenfi Rural Bank and pointed different types of guns at the customers and bank staff to bring out all their possessions and they did as they were told.
The armed robbers went to the counter and abused the lady in charge to bring out all the money she have with her.
After the armed robbers robbed the customers, bank staff, and the lady in charge of the counter of their items, they went ahead to the branch manager of Upper Amenfi Rural Bank and tortured him with a gun to unlock the vault.
The armed robbers hit the branch manager’s head with the gun and stepped on him mercilessly to lead them to the vault and unlock it.
The branch manager unlocked the vault and the armed robbers took everything and bolted away.
The branch manager sustained an injury and for that matter, he was quickly rushed to the hospital for treatment and fortunately, he has recovered.
