Mr. Alex Emmanuel Nti a political analyst has described the Flag bearer hopeful of the governing New Patriotic Party Boakye Agyarko as humble and God fearing.
Speaking on Plan B FM’s late afternoon show EBAANOSEN with Ohene Kinnah, Mr. explained that, Boakye Agyarko did a good job for Nana Addo in 2015 as a policy advisor and was rewarded with the energy minister appointment but he was axed from his post because of his incorruptible nature.
“Boakye Agyarko is a humble and God-fearing man, if he surrounds himself with God-fearing and good people he can make an impact in the impending presidential election of the New Patriotic Party NPP” he said
But the political does not believe if the NPP party will give him the nod to lead the party in 2024 general election.
His reaction comes on the back of comments by Boakye Agyarko that the internal race for the slot will be peaceful so far as the whole process is fair.
After filing his nomination on Monday, 19 June 2023 at the party’s headquarters in Accra, the former energy minister said: “It is important that all uphold the rules and regulations”.
“Without sounding like a fly in the jar, there have been many provocations, there have been many breaking the rules for which no sanctions have been applied. I have even raised the matter at the national council”.
“So long as the rules are clear, so long as there is total fairness, so long as we are all tempered or measured, I believe that we would have a very peaceful contest. But please do not hold yourself aloof from the entire process”.
