Blows at NDC Regional Secretariat; Chairman beats and ‘disfigures’ Treasurer’s face

Information indicates that the Northern Regional Treasurer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hajia Shamima has suffered some facial injuries after allegedly being assaulted by National Democratic Congress (NDC) Northern Regional Vice Chairman, Alhaji Gbewaa.

The incident which occurred at the NDC Regional party Secretariat in Tamale is alleged to be as a result of some monies for party activities.

The Northern Regional Treasurer, has since been treated and discharged from the hospital after she received punches from the chairman in the ensuing melee  

The Northern Regional Treasurer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hajia Shamima, has reported the assault at the Northern Regional Police Headquarters who confirmed to  that the matter was under investigation

This is the second time the victim has been assaulted by her own party executives after the First National Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) Sofo Awudu Azorka, allegedly also assaulted her.
