Black Stars Spread Joy At Osu Children’s Home following World Cup Qualification Triumph

The Black Stars made a donation to the Osu Children’s Home on Monday, hours after securing qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The donation was made by the technical team on behalf of the team, was led by Head Coach Otto Addo, along with Technical Advisor Winfred Schaeffer, Assistant Coaches Desmond Ofei Sakyi, John Panstil, Fatau Dauda, Kris Perquy, Psychologist, Gregory De Grauwe and Awal Kamin, Video Analysts, Physiotherapists, Samuel Ankomah, Major Albert Evedzi, and Edward Ababio as well as Team Manager Ameenu Shardow. 

The purpose of the visit was to support the children’s welfare by extending courtesies to the less privileged and forming a bond with the community. This gesture is part of the team’s vision to give back to society.

The Black Stars secured their ticket to the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Mexico, Canada, and the United States of America after beating Comoros 1-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium, finishing with 25 points from 8 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw.
