South African giants Orlando Pirates have confirmed the signing of Black Stars and Ghana goalkeeper Richard Ofori from Maritzburg United on a three-year deal.
Ofori, 26, has established himself as one of the leading stoppers in Africa with Maritzburg and the Black Stars.

“I am very happy to be here. It is a dream for me to be a part of this exciting squad and to work with the technical team,” Ofori said upon his official unveiling. “I also look forward to meeting my new teammates and being part of this exciting new project.”
Ofori has made 85 appearances in the South African PSL keeping 29 clean sheets while conceding 80 goals.
Orlando Pirates took to its official Twitter handle to announce the signing.
