Black Queens forward Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah has joined Nottingham Forest in the Women’s Super League 2 in England.
The move comes in the wake of her brilliant performance at the 2024 CAF Women’s AFCON in Morocco where she helped Ghana’s National Women’s Football Team to clinch a bronze medal.
Finishing third at the competition marked Ghana’s best performance at the continental championship since 2016; this was Boye-Hlorkah’s tournament debut.
Since leaving Ghana, the English-born player has signed for Nottingham Forest in a move that keeps her in the WSL 2 after featuring for London City Lionesses from 2023 to 2025.
After her deal with London City expired, the 29 year old made the latest move in her career by joining Forest. She has played for Everton and Aston Villa in the premier division early in her career.

“I am excited. It [City Ground] looks amazing. Like the surface…everywhere is red. This league, it’s a very tough league. It’s a competitive league” she said after officially joining Forest.
