The Black Princesses of Ghana put up a good fight on Friday in the friendly match against the France U20 team.
Unfortunately, it was not enough as the youth national team of the West African country lost 4-0 at the end of the 90 minutes.
The Black Princesses will be one of 16 national teams that will compete at this year’s FIFA Women’s U20 World Cup to be staged in Costa Rica.
As part of preparations for what will be a tough tournament for the Ghana U20 women’s team, the Ghana FA has made arrangements for the team to hold a training camp in France.
As part of activities to help the team, the Black Princesses today engaged the France U20 team in a friendly match.
At the end of the exercise, the France U20 team cruised to a deserved 4-0 win.
Head coach for the Princesses, Coach Ben Fokuo is to take lessons from the defeat today and make corrections that will help the team at the 2022 FIFA Women’s U20 Women’s World Cup.
