According to a report by Ghanaweb on Tuesday, Aug 18, 2026, a US court document has revealed that convicted former Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) Managing Director, Asante Berko, and his associates made more than $42 million from the AKSA power deal – a figure far larger than the $1 million bribe at the centre of

his conviction.
