Bench Mark Value Suspension Is A Starting Point For The Growth Of Local Manufacturers – OPDG

Mr. Samuel Avaala, President of Oil Palm Development Ghana has said that they are happy about the suspension of the 50% bench mark value and is still lobbying for it to be scrapped entirely.

Mr Avaala in an interview with Nkosuo Hene on Plan B FM’s Ebaanosen revealed that the suspension of the bench mark value will help develop the local industry in Ghana.

“We are not enemies with importers all we want is for all of us to be treated equally “

He concluded that that the palm oil industry in Ghana is doing soo well and are working on being able to serve all Ghanaians.
