Be vigilant – Franklin cudjoe raises alarm over EC’s tactics after ballot paper shortage claim

Roads Minister’s justification For Arbitrarily Stopping Toll Collection Insulting – Franklin Cudjoe

Franklin Cudjoe, a policy analyst and the founding president of the IMANI Center for Policy and Education Think Tank, has urged Ghanaians to exercise caution regarding the electoral commission’s deliberate attempts to sabotage democratic processes in the forthcoming elections.

Franklin Cudjoe described the recent acts of the electoral commission as a suspicious and intentional attempt to gauge public reactions to dubious choices, which they frequently revoke when there is a substantial outcry from Ghanaians, in a strongly worded message posted on his social media pages.

Franklin Cudjoe, for instance, called the electoral commission’s decision to prohibit certain media outlets from reporting on the ballot counting process “undemocratically asinine” and criticized it. The European Commission overturned the ruling after public outcry.

In addition to their ineptitude, the EC’s leadership purposefully engages in clowning to gauge public reaction and retreat from irrational behavior when animosity is strong,” he stated.

The ridiculously undemocratic rule that prohibits certain media outlets from covering the ballot counting at polling places is a recent example. They retracted the insulting decree in response to protests from reasonable citizens. The same is true for centers and limited registration times.

Franklin Cudjoe responded to the controversies regarding the number of registration locations and deadlines, as well as the vote paper shortages, by calling it a massive election manipulation plan. He cautioned Ghanaians to exercise caution in light of the increased scrutiny of the EC’s election preparations, as political stakeholders and civil society organizations voiced concerns about the elections’ fairness and transparency.
