Bawumia must declare his stance on homosexuality – Foh-Amoaning

Bawumia must declare his stance on homosexuality – Foh-Amoaning
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Lawyer and veteran broadcaster, Moses Foh-Amoaning has urged the Vice president Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to make his stance on LGBTQ related issues ahead of the 2024 general elections when he professes to be a devout Muslim.

According to him, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia must state his stance on the raging debate on homosexuality to Ghanaians.

“I have spoken to the Vice President, we all know he is a devout muslim, but we need him to come out publicly and declare his stance on homosexuality activities in the country. Since the issue of LGBTQ came up, we’ve not heard him say anything. The sad thing is that the President also hasn’t been forthright with his comments on the issue. But I want to say that the issue of LGBTQ will be central in the 2024 elections. We need to know the positions of our Ministers, Presidential candidates and the MPs on homosexuality ahead of the 2024 elections” he told Ohene Kinnah on Plan B FM’s ‘Ebaanosen’
