President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has explained that his Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has a strong message that resonates with the youth of Ghana.

According to him, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is waging a good campaign, and he believes that he will win the 2024 election.

He acknowledges that there is economic hardship in the country but is quick to add that his government has influenced several sectors of the economy.

“I believe that he is waging a good campaign. He has a message that resonates especially with the youth of Ghana.

Secondly, he has a good record to defend. In spite of the economic difficulties, the eight years in which we were in office were not wasted. Major reforms in education, in our health system, in our road infrastructure, the development of the digital economy, and the key ingredients of the Ghanaian economy have seen significant improvement since we came by, so there is a record with which he is campaigning.

He has also brought new ideas to the surface, which are ideas on how the young people can get involved in developing themselves and the nation’s economy, and that is what is giving me the confidence that he’s going to win. Certainly, that is my hope. You will remember this discussion when you hear the news that comes out of Accra,” he remarked on France 24 in an interview.
