New Patriotic Party (NPP) Flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has congratulated John Boadu and the newly elected National Executives of the party following their election at the National Delegates Conference in Kumasi.
In a statement issued on Sunday, October 4, Dr. Bawumia said the successful election marked the completion of the NPP’s reorganisation ahead of the 2028 presidential election.
He described the election as peaceful and transparent, noting that its outcome reflected the wishes of delegates of the party.
Dr. Bawumia said he expects the John Boadu-led National Executive to immediately begin preparations towards the 2028 elections.
He also pledged his support to the new leadership to build an inclusive party that harnesses the talents and contributions of all members in pursuit of victory in 2028.
According to him, no talent within the party should be excluded from the campaign, regardless of whether members were on the winning or losing side of the internal elections.
“In victory or in defeat, no talent should be left out in the 2028 campaign,” Dr. Bawumia stated.
The NPP held its National Delegates Conference in Kumasi on Saturday, October 3, where John Boadu was elected National Chairman alongside other national executives to lead the party into the 2028 general elections.
