These 150 people have been appointed and are scheduled to begin work on December 23, based on information obtained from Ghana Chronicles.
Following Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s admission of defeat to John Mahama in the 2024 elections, this accusation was made.
It is not yet known whether the Ghana Chronicles’ claim that the Bank of Ghana issued 150 appointment letters to individuals is accurate, but it is typical for government institutions in Ghana to send out these letters to people following a general election.
Speaking to Ghanaians on Sunday, December 8, Dr. Bawumia explained, “We will closely monitor the incoming government, but we will not be a destructive opposition. We’ll get back together and return more powerful.
According to the data, former President Mahama has won the presidential election with a landslide victory. Even though we are still awaiting the final seat count, the NDC has also won the parliamentary elections,” he declared audaciously.
“I just called HE John Mahama to congratulate you,” Dr. Bawumia continued.
