The highly classified self-styled parliamentary candidate for the opposition National Democratic Congress in the Effutu Constituency has been arrested this morning in Winneba.
James Kofi Annan was arrested for violently disrupting the arbitration hearing of challenged voter ID cards holders.
The so-called NDC PC could not stand the fact that some of the people he allegedly bussed into Effutu were being denied their ID cards and started attacking some of the members of the committee overseeing the process.
But for the quick intervention of some people around the place, he would have caused more damages to the people on the committee.
He has since been arrested and its being processed to appear before the Winneba court.
James Kofi Annan has been tag with violent since the start of the registration exercise. It was alleged that some NPP members from the constituency has been aiding criminals to flee the zone after they have been opposed and arrest warrant was issued for their arrest, Mr James without checks did not settle that issue but went on today to cause distractions which the EC saw to be unnecessary and called for his arrest.
This Mr James was in the past tag with violent codes which have never been proven by the NPP party but with this arrest will harm his accreditation and success come December 7.
The NDC is trying to win the seat and this act will cause further harm and destructions to their success come December polls.
