Atuabo Gas Processing Plant Shutdown For Maintenance
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The Ghana National Gas Company, GNGC, will begin a two-week normal planned maintenance shutdown at the Atuabo Gas Processing Plant starting today, Monday, October 4th, 2021.

The plant will be shut down until October 18th, 2021, to allow engineers to do repairs and assure its optimal functioning.

According to a statement from the Ghana National Gas Company’s Corporate Communications office, the two-week maintenance will also allow for the installation of essential processing plant components.

Ghana Gas, according to the statement, is working with stakeholders to minimize any power supply shortages.

“The Ghana Gas Board, Management, and Maintenance team wishes to reassure all of our stakeholders that we would work with our partners to guarantee system stability during the closure period and minimize the impact on power supply,” it added.
