According to an eye witness who spoke to Salt FM, the motor rider whose name was given as Kwadwo Obolo, a worker at a company which deals in teak trees had a passenger by name John, an electrician who was assigned to repair a faulty car owned by the company. The two met their untimely death when the collision occurred as a result of top speed by the motorist.

A car battery which got exploded in the process also spilt acid on some apprentices under training at the scene of the accident.

The injured are currently receiving treatment at the hospital and the dead bodies have been deposited at Agogo Presbyterian Hospital morgue.

Meanwhile some grieving residents have pleaded with authorities to construct speed ramps to help lower the speeds of moving cars as more lives are at risk if nothing is done.
